Uploading Video and Audio files to your iPod Touch
The main function of the iPod is to play both audio and video files and at the convenience of the user. But before one is able to enjoy his or her music or watch his or her video clips, one has to transfer them from their source to the iPod. This is because the iPod Touch does not come with already installed music and video files that one can play, and even if they were, one would still want to have their own personalized music and videos in their iPods. The process is very simple, although it may end up being a little bit frustrating when one does not know what to do.
The first step is getting the music or video files from their source and this may be done through various ways. One may download the music or video files from free sites which are all over the internet. It is however not advisable to do this as there is the risk of downloading viruses an spyware which may be harmful to your computer and your iPod. The other option may be to download the files from various premium sites which will charge you a fee. Some files are also available in the Apple store from which you can choose.
The next step after downloading the files is to convert them into file formats that can be played on the iPod Touch. This is usually done by transferring the files into the iTunes library. Thereafter, you will then select the files and then choose the option for converting the files into iPod Touch compatible format. This will be done automatically by the software.
You will then have to connect your iPod Touch to your computer using a USB cable and then transfer the files from your computer to the iPod Touch. Thereafter, the files will be ready for your use.
